This project for a small Mews development in South London provides 6 new homes on a constrained site.
The existing sliver of land is brought into use by an inventive proposal to create three mews houses and three apartments addressing a new mews adjacent to a 1930s mansion block.
The proposal is located between an existing railway and exploits the constraints of the site to create dual and triple aspect housing addressing new shared public space whilst creating a new route across the site.
The approach to materiality references the neighbouring buildings and invokes a language that is familiar to the typology and local context.
