CLOCK TOWER HOUSE

Kent Coast, 2018

On-Site

Planning Consent has been granted for an unusual extension to a listed building on the Kent coast.

The proposed extension to a refurbished Grade II listed stable block on the coast in West Kent replaces a dilapidated flint wall with a new flint structure that replicates the massing and feel of the existing.

The extension, carved out of the chalk cliff, will provide guest accommodation to the existing house without dramatically affecting the listed building or the conservation area setting.

Work has begun and the project is due for completion in mid-2018.
