Peckham Georgian House

South-East London

Planning Consent Granted February 2020

Heritage Consultant: Montagu-Evans

Planning consent has been achieved for another Grade II listed building in Peckham.

The proposal returns a dated and unloved house into a family home. The addition of a rear extension creates a much improved connection between upper and lower ground floors and opens the house up to the garden.

Considered negotiation with the London Borough of Southwark was undertaken to arrive at the consent that the owners initially hoped for, adding a bedroom at first floor as well as new living space suitable for modern family life.
